Zoom with a Judge: Who Makes the Rules?! (Grades 9-12)

March 12 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

EST  | It’s an online-only event

From 1776 to 2026, people have disagreed with and challenged rules. Students will hear from two judges about the process of judicial review.

Discovering Justice will once again host our popular Zoom with a Judge event for grades 9-12. This year our focus is judicial review: How are laws made, and what can be done in court if you think a rule is unfair? Classes from across the Commonwealth will join together to discuss and challenge a group rule, learning about the landmark supreme court case Marbury vs. Madison. This is a chance to hear from judges and learn what options people have in court when they think a rule is unfair.

This session is organized by Discovering Justice.
