Join Generation Citizen for a fully student‑led regional conversation featuring young people from across New York and Pennsylvania. As part of GC’s Future250 initiative, this virtual roundtable centers student voice and lived experience. Young people are invited to share their civic stories, reflect on the issues that matter most to them, and imagine what democracy could look and feel like over the next 50 years.
Students will guide the discussion, pose questions, and offer bold ideas for how civic spaces can evolve to better support their generation and those who follow. A Generation Citizen MAR staff member will support the flow of the event, while students lead the conversation from start to finish.
Educators, elected officials, and community partners are invited to attend as listeners and supporters, joining the space to learn from students and celebrate youth leadership in action. Registration is for guests attending the roundtable, not for student presenters, though adult guests will have a brief opportunity to respond to student themes and affirm the leadership and vision young people bring to our civic future.
