The University of Maryland will hold an in-person workshop, panel discussion, and dialogue with students from Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ Student Service-Learning Leadership Team. Throughout the day, visiting high school students will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and expertise with university faculty and students from across campus. The goal of the program is to help strengthen the connections between leadership, service-learning, and civic engagement in high school and in college.
The event is co-sponsored and organized by the University of Maryland College of Education’s Civic Education & Engagement Initiative as well as the Office of Leadership & Community Service-Learning, Adele H. Stamp Student Union.
The event is not open to the public and is by invitation only. For additional information, please contact: LScott12@umd.edu or firstname.lastname@example.org.
