March 10 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

EST  | It’s an online-only event

Are you looking for a way to engage your students more deeply in learning about American democracy and help them build skills for a lifetime of civic engagement? The Legislative Semester is an experiential, project based approach to teaching civics and government where students create a legislature in their school and immerse themselves in democratic decision making. It is built on core principles of authenticity, relevance, student agency, and teacher neutrality. Join experienced teachers for a short information session about the Legislative Semester curriculum, and learn more about the next steps for adopting this research-based, engaging, experiential curriculum.
