A panel discussion highlighting the importance of legislative advocacy for civics education in Massachusetts. Panelists will include students and teachers from schools that have benefitted from Civics Education Trust Fund grants. The panel will also discuss legislative advocacy and the role of the legislative process in supporting civics education. Panelists are still to be finalized, but may include legislators and/or legislative staff, educators who have advocated for civics learning in the legislative process, student activists, and more.
