Imagine if K – 12 students today could play a role-playing game that encourages each student to cultivate collaboration, embrace curiosity, engage in evidence-based thinking, and explore policy solutions with a hands-on approach to civic learning. By merging the lanes of inclusive curriculum design, systems thinking, and experiential learning, this seminar-style discussion uses a series of interactive exercises, key research findings, and critical thinking prompts for K-12 educators to explore how intergenerational storytelling pathways motivate deeper personal inquiry, civic understanding, and moral clarity. The end goal of this presentation is to demonstrate to K-12 educators how our approach makes civc learning relatable and fun, guiding K – 12 students towards improved decision-making.
