Five years ago the Legislature passed the Massachusetts Civics Education Law that made civics a priority for students in the Commonwealth. Each year the Legislature has generously supported the implementation of the law providing the funds that state and local district education officials need to develop and implement robust curriculum to prepare the next generation to steward our democracy. Come and hear directly from students and teachers from across Massachusetts about the impact of the state’s investment in civic education.
