Climate Change and Environmental Policy Student Deliberation and Panel

Close Up and Earth Force will co-host an online panel discussion about community resilience to environmental disasters and climate change. Students and teachers will consider how communities should plan for and respond to threats such as wildfires, earthquakes, and other extreme weather events and will evaluate the role of federal, state, and local governments as well as the role of non-profits and private industry in creating more prepared and resilient communities. Following the panel, students will join peers from across the country to reflect, dialogue, and deliberate about the best paths forward on these challenging issues.
