DESCRIPTION:Investing in Civics Teaching & Learning – Successes & Tips from DESE Grant Recipients\nThis session will spotlight the experiences of districts that have used DESE Civics Teaching and Learning Grant funding to strengthen civics education for their students. Participants will hear from them about how they worked creatively to assess their districts’ needs and develop their approach\, built investment from other educators and community members\, and maximized the impact of the funds they received. Panelists will be available at the end of the session to consult with participants who may be considering applying for grant funding themselves.
