A special one-hour screening of award-winning “Trust Me” Documentary with expert panel discussion following. “Trust Me” brings awareness of peoples’ need for media literacy and civics to lessen the polarization our world is experiencing since the advent of the internet. The film is screening globally at U.S. Embassies, American Corners, Universities, and High Schools, thanks to the U.S. State Department and NATO classifying media literacy as a strategic defense initiative. Real stories filmed around the world demonstrate how online manipulation leads to real repercussions. Experts then point the way toward a positive future where people collaborate on the big problems our world is facing, once they are attuned to online manipulation and provided tools to prevent it from affecting them.
Optionally, one-hour educator workshop, utilizing “Trust Me” and its curriculum and discussion guides written by News Literacy Project.
