This event will feature panel discussions and networking with elected leaders and officials who will focus on everyday issues that teenagers face with a positive approach and culminating in an evening party. Teens will be encouraged to take care of the city they inherit by discussing topics from mental health to civic responsibility. Resources will be available to help teens navigate these critical aspects of their lives.
By addressing crucial topics, chosen by youth ambassadors, such as land use, mental health, gun violence prevention, and financial and civic literacy, the event seeks to foster an ownership for the next generation.
