The flourishing, functional constitutional democracy of tomorrow requires that today’s students develop the bridge-building skills and dispositions that will equip them to collaborate across different perspectives. This will require the adults who impact their learning– parents, educational policy-makers, and teachers– to engage in productive ways as well. Purposeful and effective bridging at the K-12 level will see educators prepare themselves in a way that facilitates the learning required of their students, and students will experience the sustained learning opportunities that will position them to ease this country’s polarization and ideological conflict. Join our distinguished panel to describe how and then participate in digging deeper and learning from peers on how to take your work to the next level.
