We are always actively engaged in Civics material in my high school U.S. Government class, and next week will be no different! We will be covering the Executive Branch, supplementing with material from iCivics, as well as having some opportunities for extra enrichment by engaging with Civic Learning Week materials and events.
In addition, I will be sharing material in World History and Geography to get them thinking about those subjects in a more civic-minded way. The Elementary Principal also shared CLW materials with teachers in her newsletter and Junior High teachers have been invited to join the endeavor as well.
