Civic Life Project Co-Founders, award-winning and acclaimed documentarians, Catherine Tatge and Dominique Lasseur, will kick off the discussion by briefly introducing participating educators to the organization’s proven digital storytelling for civic education program, which combines core civics concepts with documentary training and production.
Educator and action civics instructional design expert, Juanita Montes de Oca, will then present Civic Life Project’s new “Effective Interviews & Active Listening for Civic Engagement” learning modules which is designed to develop students’ research, listening, and interview skills.
