Assessing Student Civic Learning

This session will explore the ways that teachers have approached assessing student civic learning in their classes, including how they have assessed student knowledge, skills and dispositions. The session will include attention to assessment of the student led civics projects, particularly how teachers have assessed student thinking, processes, and experiences. Participants will include 8th grade MA civics classroom teachers, as well as assessment researchers.
