America’s Future Summit celebrates America’s 250th birthday and reimagines civic education for a new generation. Convening Minnesota’s 250 top teens for a civic leadership competition, students team up to innovate solutions in one of three fields: climate, education, and media. Students will emerge as Civic Bridgers — leaders who bridge divides and build a future on hopeful, ambitious, and citizen-led solutions. AFS is intentionally designed to update an often one-sided version of America’s story via storytelling, bridge building, and collaborative change-making where youth voices lead. This summit is grounded in a core belief: Teens are not guests in this democracy — they are leaders in its future.
