In this session, you’ll learn how to help students get ID, pre-register and register, check their registration, find their polling place, read their ballot, research candidates, and cast a vote that is counted. We’ll also discuss how they can overcome barriers like language issues, last-minute address changes, how to correct a defective ballot, and who to call if they encounter at their polling place. In addition, you’ll learn about the student poll worker program, and tips for how to maximize both registration and turnout.
